Beaches
Cala Millor has a vast beach, ideal for families with kids. White sands and a few waves most of the time, with all restaurants and bars right next to it. There are no cars anywhere near here, which creates a very safe and quiet atmosphere for a beach holiday. However, if the beach gets too busy or you want a quiet area, you might want to walk over more towards the right of the beach where there usually are fewer people, and it’s also a great place to have a more adventurous beach day or to do some snorkelling.
Hotels
Cala Millor has many great hotels, and many of these are from the Protur group. If I would have to pick a few of my favourites:

- Protur Playa Cala Millor for an adults only holiday next to the beach.
Restaurants and bars
Cala Millor is a vast resort, and because of this, you can find pretty much everything here you can imagine when it comes to restaurants. Everything from fast food to all-you-can-eat buffets to international foods. If you want the more traditional Spanish food, you might want to have a look at the harbour area of Cala Bona as well. You will find most restaurants in Cala Millor near the beach or on the main shopping street, but there is also an excellent area between Cala Millor and Cala Bona where you can have a great dinner right next to the sea.

How to get to Cala Millor
Cala Millor is far away from the airport. A bus can take you there from the airport without transferring in Palma, but I would still advise you to book a shuttle instead.

If you travel 4 people and don’t mind paying a bit more, a taxi will get you there much faster.

Nightlife
Cala Millor has an active nightlife. There are many late-night bars but also some clubs. One thing that is very nice here is that you usually can find many live performances all over the resort. One place that does this exceptionally well is the beach club “Cafe del Sol” near the beach. This is an excellent place to enjoy the evenings and nights in Cala Millor.
Things to do near Cala Millor
Many boat trips are offered in this area that will take you to local markets, caves, snorkelling areas, or glass-bottom boats. Also, one of these day trips will take you to Cuevas del Drach, one of the more popular caves to visit in this area. One thing I want to point out when going on an excursion here, if it offers something like “visit the nearby pearl factory”, that this is all about selling you the fake pearls they make in Mallorca. While these pearls are popular and Mallorca is famous for them, they are still artificial, and selling tactics can be pretty pushy.
