Beaches
There are 2 lovely white sandy beaches in Can Pastilla. Both of them are located next to a low-traffic road, so pretty tranquil and easy to get to restaurants and snack places right next to the beach. The main beach here is sheltered from the sea, so it has few waves and shallow waters, making it ideal for families with small children. Do know that this is close to the airport, so you might hear some planes take off and land, but you don’t hear very much from it, especially after a few hours here, you don’t notice them anymore.
Hotels

Nightlife
There is not much of a night or party life in Can Pastilla when it comes to clubs. The area becomes pretty quiet after midnight. If you want more clubs and nightlife, Playa de Palma and El Arenal have many more clubs, bars and beer gardens that are just a short walk or a taxi drive away. Also, you are just a short drive away from Palma with many famous clubs like Pachas.

Shopping
There are no shops in Can Pastilla worth mentioning, but the FAN shopping centre is close by and has many branded outlet stores. They can easily be reached by bus. Palma is also easily reached and has many shopping streets around the Plaza Espana (the central bus station) or in the height of summer; you might want to visit one of the air-conditioned shopping centres like Porto Pi.
Restaurants and bars
Can Pastilla has one of the most extensive selections of fresh seafood restaurants in Mallorca, and many of the restaurants also have some great views over the sea. This area caters to the traditional Spanish kitchen, but if you don’t want to eat this every day, you will find many more restaurants in the neighbouring resorts catering to more international cuisine. Just outside the resort of Can Pastilla, you will also find the Purobeach club and restaurant for a very upscale and, of course, a bit more pricey food experience.
How to get to Can Pastilla
Can Pastilla is the closest destination for the Palma Aiport (PMI), so getting there is very fast if you know where to go. One of the options is to take public transport. However, for the same price as public transport, you can also get a shuttle, which is a much better option. If you are travelling with 3 or 4 people, a taxi might be your best choice.

Things to do near Can Pastilla
Can Pastilla is a great place to visit with many interesting things to do and see nearby. One of these is the Aqualand water park, about 8 km away. If you are going here, I would try to go on a Saturday as it is much quieter then and there are fewer long lines for the rides. Also, I would not go here in June or August as it gets way too busy.
For rainy days you also have the Palma Aquarium nearby. It’s not just aquariums; there are also fun interactive things. This park is great any day of the week, and also in case you would have a rainy day.
Palma is about 10 minutes away by bus with plenty of cultural things to see, like the famous Palma Cathedral if you want a cultural holiday.
