• Public transport: If you are travelling very soon (within 48 hours or less) and not to Corralejo, El Cotillo, Costa de Antigua or Las Playitas then public transport is a good option.
• Shuttle bus: The easiest and best way when travelling on a budget.
• Taxi at the airport: It could be ok when not arriving in the evening or weekend.
• Taxi online: If you want a taxi and arrive on the weekend, in the evening or during high season, booking online is the best option.
• Taxi at airport: Good option if you are not travelling with small children who need car safety seats, not with more then 4 people and not in high season.
• Minibus online: When travelling with more than 4 people.
• Hire car: When staying in the smaller resorts like Costa de Antigua, Las Playitas, Gran Tarajal, Tarajalejo, La Lajita or La Pared.

Things to know about public transport at Fuerteventura Airport:

• Only a few bus lines are passing the airport in Fuerteventura, and all of these go to the South of the island and Puerto del Rosario.
• The buses going to the South (Morro Jable, Costa Calma,…) also leave from Puerto del Rosario and then stop at the airport; this might mean, depending on the time of day, that the buses are already quite full when arriving at the airport.
• The buses going to the South, depending on the one you take, might take up to 40 stops to get to your final destination.
• If you are going to the North (Corralejo or El Cotillo), you first must go to Puerto del Rosario and then take another bus to your final destination.
• Not a good option when arriving after 18h00 or on Sunday.

Things to know about shuttle buses at Fuerteventura Airport:

• The shuttle bus has to be booked in advance online, no option to do this upon arrival.
• They stop at your hotel, not a random bus stop.
• If your flight gets delayed, the bus will wait for you, or you will be booked onto the next available one.
• You will have a guaranteed seat on the bus.
• Better than public transportation during weekends or evening arrivals.
