Las Playitas is all about sports. Not only can you go surfing here, but also sailing, mountain biking and much more… there is also a full-size 18-hole golf course.

Restaurants, bars and nightlife
Las Playitas only has 2 small restaurants in the harbour area, mainly serving tapas and Spanish dishes. When it comes to nightlife, since most people come here for an active and sports holiday, there is not any nightlife as most like to get an early night’s sleep.
Fuerteventura airport to Las Playitas
Las Playitas is 43 km away from the Fuerteventura airport. Since there is no direct public transport going to Las Playitas, it is best to take a taxi or a pre-booked shuttle bus.
- There is no direct public transport to Las Playitas. It is possible to get there, but it is much more complex and requires multiple bus changes.
- A shuttle bus will get you there but needs to be booked before arriving, costing 13.45 €.
- Reserving a taxi online before arriving has a fixed price of 82.83 €. Taking a taxi from the airport has a starting price of 52 € and will be more expensive at the weekend or evening.

Weather in Las Playitas & when to go
Las Playitas has the typical Fuerteventura weather with hot summers and comfortable winters. Much better than some of the winters in many other holiday destinations in Spain, where winter is generally colder and wetter.
