Beaches
The Punta Prima beach is easy to reach from all the hotels. Located centrally in the middle of the resort, it is also close to most bars and restaurants in this area. The beach is a small white sandy beach. Since the beach is one of the more exposed to the open sea in Menorca, the water stays pretty refreshing here. Also, because of this, there are some days pretty high waves.
Best hotels in Punta Prima
This area of Menorca mainly offers big all-inclusive club-style hotels.
- If you are looking for a great large club hotel with all-inclusive where you can spend most of your holiday without getting bored then I can really advise Occidental Menorca and Insotel Punta Prima.
Things to do
The local Splash Sur Menorca waterpark offers a nice bit of Family fun. If you want, you can also visit nearby Mahon for some local culture or take boat trips. The local fish market in the capital is also ideal for those who enjoy Spanish tapas.

Restaurants, bars and nightlife
There is quite a large selection of bars and restaurants (about 10) here in the front of the resort near the beach what is pretty surprising as there are so many large, all-inclusive hotels in this area.
Menorca airport to Punta Prima
Punta Prima is just 18 km from Menorca airport:
- With public transport, you will first have to go to Mahon (2.65 euro) and then on another bus to Punta Prima (1.70 euro).
- A shuttle is an easier option at 11 euros.
- Taxi’s start at 22 euros but cost more on the weekends or evenings.

Is Punta Prima the right holiday destination for you?
Punta Prima is very close to the airport and therefore is ideal for those travelling with small children. If you like all-inclusive and having great kids pools, games and entertainment in the hotel, many of the hotels here will suit you fine. This resort is mainly for those travelling for a sun-soaked, all-inclusive holiday that mostly takes place in the hotel. But there are some bars, restaurants and a lovely beach for those days you choose not to spend in the hotel.
